Just wanted to give you an update. Clean break, no surgery needed YAY! Cast for another 6 weeks then back to my favorite sport. Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive! You guys are the best!

As we enter the new pickleball season, the FPA is happy to announce the following upcoming events in June:
Opening Day- Saturday, June 1 at 10:00 AM - Livesey
Summer Kickoff- June 22 – Indoor -Southcoast Pickleball -Members and Guests
FPA Tournament-Saturday and Sunday June 29, 30 -Indoor Southcoast Pickleball
We will also be hosting a number of June clinics at Livesey:
Saturday and Sunday -June 8 and 9 -Beginners Clinic 11:00 AM-1:00 PM
Wednesday and Thursday -June 12 and 13 -Beginner Clinic 5:00-7:00 PM
Wednesday- June 19- Next Step- 11:00-1:00 PM
Thursday- June 20 - Next Step -5:00-7:00 PM
During the past four years, the FPA has taken on many initiatives such as: raising money to support our growing program, lobbying with the town to build new pickleball courts, support the building of 4 pickleball courts at Fort Phoenix , provide clinics for our members and for beginners, oversee the building of the new courts at Livesey, provide a variety of social activities for our members, provide scheduling through Player LineUp so that all ability levels can enjoy the sport. In addition, we also supply at Livesey: Squeggies, balls, sound system, tables, awning, brooms, white board etc. We will continue to seek improvements to our programming and provide more opportunities for our members.
We hope if you haven’t already done so that you will support the FPA by joining our organization. To do this send in your membership fee of $25 payable to Fairhaven Pickleball (FPA ) to Dan Ferreira 12 Grant St. Acushnet, Ma. 02743. Hello!
We have a few updated regarding the upcoming FPA Open tournament scheduled for June 29th and 30th at Southcoast Pickleball.
We will be trialing a 55+ division that will take place early on Sunday morning, June 30th. This will not be divided by skill and we will have both men's and women's brackets. Those who wish to play in this division and the regular tournament are able to do so.
Registration will open on Wednesday, May 22nd at 6:00 PM. The below link will be inactive until then. Please remember preference will be given to those teams that have signed up completely.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped me yesterday after my embarrassing fall on the court….you were all so sweet in coming to my rescue! Decided to go to the ER this morning and unfortunately my ankle is broken….guess I will be taking a break from Pickleball for a while. Enjoy your summer and play safe!
